How to see all day events in a monthly callendar view

I'm using iPaq 3850 with 2003 os
on my desktop is winXP with Outlook 2003

When I create an all day reoccuring event (i.e. Birthday) in MS Outlook it looks perfect in any view (monthly, weekly, daily) I can even assign a color to that event. It is a different story on the pocket PC though, if I go to the monthly view in the callendar all I see is empty squares, same story is in the weekly view. The only time I see the all day event is in the daily view, it blends in "perfectly" as a grey bar on the top of the screen.

Is there a way to make it visible in the monthly, weekly views. Can color be added to the events? Does anyone have any ideas?

I believe that's the way it works for pocket Outlook. All day events wiil only appear in calendar the same day. To work around this situaion, you need a 3rd party softwares. Here's 2 free Today plugins;
