Problems Beaming and connecting to GSM Phone

I've recently bougth a Clie T-665C, and I cant Beam to any other device (I've tried with a Handspring Viso, Palm 505 and Handspring Treo) I can't connect with my Nokia 8210 either. I first suspected that it could be a Hardware problem with the IR port, but the Clie Remote commader goes Ok with a Sony TV.

Previously I had an IBM Workpad (palm Vx), and the first thing I did when I had my Sony, was to hotsync with the PC (it goes). The operating system I had in my IBM was Palm 3.5 upgraded to palm 4.1 with the original Palm upgrade kit. I also had in the IBM the SMS aplication provided in the same CD. Everything was ok with the IBM, connection to GSM to dial numbers from adress app. os send/receive SMS. Also Beaming was OK.

I suspect that maybe doing the hotsync with the old files from the IBM, and the upgrade from 3.5 to 4.1, some wrong driver has been charged to the Clié.

I've tried every thing, uninstall SMS, make soft and hard resets, but beaming or connection to GSM still doesn't go.

If your C3 was working without a problem under 4.1 you would have had no patch files to transfer. If you have a file manager such as myWorkBench from ToySoft.ca on your SONY you can request that MyWorkBench gives you a list of orphanded files to be deleted. Use caution as the app will list RAM files related to apps that you have moved to the Memory Stick as orphaned.

Most importantly do a soft reset on the SONY and try the beaming again.
