Hello;
Can anyone suggest a low cost ISP that will work with my cell phone in connecting my m515 to teh web. I say low cost because I mostly will be using my connection for grabbing email while I am not near a desktop and therefore I dont really think that paying $21.95 a month is a good idea. Right now I have Juno as my ISP but they do not support dialing up via my phone as a modem [I get DNS errors even though the Palm says that I am connected. But nothing downloads].

So can anyone suggest any good ISPs for a low cost mobile solution. Also, I am in PA so to have on across the country wouldnt do well either. Thanks in advance.

Who is your cellular provider? You can use Verizon and just use regular voice minutes. Make sure the plan allows you to access the Internet from you phone. They change the plans frequently so that feature may be included in the plan or an extra $5/month. I think it's currently called Mobile Web. You don't need one of their more-expensive separate data services!!! In that case Verizon is both the wireless provider and the ISP, and it works whether connecting the phone to a Palm or to a laptop. (You could also use another dial-up ISP and I don't know why Juno would not work, maybe it is a configuration issue.) Downloading straight e-mail does not use that many minutes.

Cingular is my cellular provider. And I am not able to connect my phone to my PDA at this point (they say) because their network (in Lancaster, PA though Phila supports data connections) doesnt support it. Go figure.
