need touchscreen spare

I spilled wine over a palm m505.It is working except for
the touchscreen.The screen itself is working it is only the
touchpart that doesnot work.
Does anybody know where one can buy/order this part?

There may be wine (still not dried) shorting out the digitizer cable. If you are brave, open up the unit and take the screen off. Take the battery off too. Clean off all the wine using distilled water and a Q-tip, esp at the connector for the screen. I don't think you should submerge the unit in distilled water. When it looks clean, let it dry and put it back together.

A friend of mine took it a part.
The only thing i need which didn't suvive the wine,
is the touch screen.The other parts are working fine.

I purchased a screen and button set for my Palm V from gethightech. The parts arrived promptly and installation was made easy by the on-line instructions at gethightech's web site. The unit works like a charm. ... Fortunately, I have not had to purchase replacement parts for my m505 yet.
