Import Photos

I want to attach photos that I have already taken of my family to their contact name. Is there a 3rd party app that lets me import photos to my Treo 600?

The Treo uses standard JPEG formatting. All you need to do is click on the Treo / PalmDesktop Photo app and when the correspond window pops up - drag a jpeg file into the folder called Transfer.

This will get them onto the handheld.

You are limited to the Favorites section to assign photos to contacts. So go to the contact in your favorites, highlight the favorite then tap menu, then choose edit, choose more, check the box for Image, choose select image, then choose select on the image you want to attach to the favorite.


If your pictures aren't in a jpeg format you can use the Paintbrush application in Windows to convert them.

The number of pictures is limited, as I stated, to the number of favorites which is 50 if you assign all of your favorites buttons to phone or contacts.
