Wireless Network Video Streaming

I wonder if I can pick your brains. I wanna stream live video to my my hp4150 over WiFi. I figured this would work using VideoLAN and PocketMVP using the built in real time transcoding in VideoLAN. I had a bit of a go but I just don't know how to set it all up! I was trying it out with just a normal DivX video and could get it to work.
I mean what do I broadcast on? UDP? HTTP? How do I pick up the stream in PocketMPV? What protocols does MVP support?
Any help would be appreciated. It would be awesome to be able to stream live TV over WiFi to the PPC.
