Hello,
I bought a used Ipaq 3670 from ebay just to play with. It came with the PC card expansion pack +. After upgrading both the Ipaq and expansion sleeve to new batteries it seemed fine for several weeks until the expansion pack quite being recognized by the Ipaq. First the extra bettery was not found and now it does not see if a card is inserted (such as a memory or network card). All cards had worked previously. I checked the connectors and everything looks fine. The Ipaq seems to be working just fine. I ordered another newer pc card expansion + sleeve from ebay (removeable battery) and it's light shows charging activity but the Ipaq does not see it at all. Not the battery or any cards inserted. Again, checking the connector does not seem to show any issues. The Ipaq is in mint condition and I have not dropped it or anything.
Does anyone have any clue what is going on? The unit has PPC 2002 installed. I've searched this forum and others but have found any help for this issue (maybe I did not use the best search terms).
Powering off and soft resets have not helped in any way. I have not tried a hard reset just yet until I explore other options.

EDIT: - One more odd thing. I noticed when I first got the unit that in the control panel it has the icon for the expansion sleeve. This unit has always shown that a sleeve is present even if its not and the diagnostic button has always been inactive (greyed out). Just another tidbit.
EDIT2: OK, it appears that sometimes it does still see cards in the original expansion sleeve. Nothing at all yet in the second sleeve.
