I did a search for "find file" and "search" and "file search" and all permutations - got nuthin' so I'm going to ask a question which may have been asked before but I couldn't find it...

How does one find a specific file? The 'find' leaves quite a bit to be desired... I tried *.lit with Type set to 'All Data' and it came up with "No items found" even tried the exact name of a known file and got the same.

I know for a fact I have several .lit books on my ppc. on the CF and in main memory. So what gives? Do I need yet another app to do this seemingly inate function?

The reason behind this is that I have isilox set to copy my .pdb file to my pocketpc - sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. I wanted to search my ppc for any .pdb files but I hit this wall in searching...

so wassup?

TIA

The built-in find function is not very useful, you may want to try Total commander, a free 3rd party file explorer, it does have search function;

well that is just lame. LAME! That I have to install a third party app to do the most basic thing.

I'm so crushed.
