EM-500 sync problem

Please help! My new EM-500 can only seem to establish successful sync after I reboot my desk top PC. After the 1st sync it won't sync again but the Active Sync message said that it connects but the Sync button is gray out. So whenever I want to sync I have to reboot my PC. Seems like Active Sync got hang up somehow. I'm runing window XP and Active Sync 3.6. I connect via USB port. Tried to free up com port but didn't seem to work. Any advice is greatly appreciated. There have been issues with the cradle PCB on the EM-500. Casio has redesigned the same added an IC & a few additional componentes.

I had similar problems & simply could not connect through the USB port. Worked flawlessly with the accessory serial cable (direct connection - no cradle ). This also was on an XP system.

See if you can wangle out a free replacement/fix for yout cradle from Casio.

Thank you for your help. I didn'nt realize EM-500 has USB connection problem. I'll switch over to serial connection then. Thanks again.
