All,

See http://www.med.unc.edu/~greena/back2palm/

Some stuff I've been compiling about my switch from Pocket PC to the
Sony NR-70 (a Palm device).

Hope some of you find it helpful. And that some of you tell me to
STOP! Or at least to schedule time rather than stay up 'til 2am
post-call doing this...:)

Best regards,
Aaron

I've used an HP-100 (DOS) handheld, a HP WinCE handheld, and now the Sony PalmOS handheld. I never found either of the others really useful. The HP-100 was useful with the application we wrote for it but not much else. The WinCE machine went through batteries far too quickly. As a result neither of them became useful. I've had my Clie for about 4 months and I rarely go anywhere without it.

Aaron,

This is a very useful web site, and I hope a lot of readers look at it in detail. It helped me a lot in making a decision on which PDA to buy.

If you are reading this post and haven't looked at Aaron's web site, do it now. There are things explained there I haven't seen clearly stated otherplaces.

I would also like to hear from other CLIE users who have had experience with both the Pocker PC and the PALM system, and see if they all agree with you on the advantages of the higher resolution screen, and the other items such as security of data you mention?

Thanks again for a very useful Web resource on the CLIE Palm application.

Great site. http://www.med.unc.edu/~greena/back2palm/

Thanks for all the good insights for using the Palm OS. Now I have more & better arguments to use during the company purchase proposal! (You will get proper credit for them.)

Looking forward for the rest of the links & tips to be completed.

I know putting all this good info in a website is a lot of work, but I really appreciate your efforts,

:)
