Hi,
I use iPAQ h2200. The size of IPAQ File Store folder is 3.84 MB. How can I increase the size? Do I need to set something? Or buy a expansion card :)
Please help. I am a beginner.
Thanks

You cannot alter the size of the iPAQ file store. The used memory in the ROM (iPAQ file store) is where the OS is saved, this cannot be compressed or made smaller.

I recommend buying a 128/256 (preferable)SD card to expand the memory, leaving your CF card free for futher hardware expanstions. I currently have a 256 SD card which contains a few vids, several mp3's, all my documents, and a majority of installation files. This way, if i ever forget to charge my iPAQ i can retain everything on SD :)

Give us a shout if u want any more answers, im a noobie too.

The ipaq filestore is basically the spare flash memory left over after the operating system has been loaded, which is available for your use. You can't expand it.
You can use a SD or CF card to increase your available memory massively (if you have enough money !).
Simply buy a SD or CF card and pop it in. It will appear in file manager, and you can treat the additional space as a normal folder.
Advantages -
Won't lose data on hard reset.
Can be used to transfer data to other devices
Allows massive storage

Disadvantages -
Slower than internal memory.

Hope this helps,
Cheers,
Andy
