Greetings - can anyone help? I use ipAQ 3600 AND HAVE RECENTLY ADDED "inbox" TO MY ACTIVESYNC PROFILE. AS AN AOL USER (WHICH IS NOT A POP3 COMPATIBLE EMAIL SYSTEM I NEVER EXPECTED TO BE ABLE TO SEE EMAIL ON MY IPAQ. HOWEVER I RECENTLY BECAME AWARE OF SOME PACKAGES WHICH PROVIDE A LOCAL POP3 SERVER TO MEDIATE BETWEEN OUTLOOK AND AOL (AOL2POP ANS ENETBOT). BOTH SEEM TO WORK VERY WELL AT THE DESKTOP LEVEL AND GETTING MY AOL MAIL IN OUTLOOK IS A MUCH LONGED FOR NOVELTY WHICH HAS BECOME REALITY. HOWEVER - PROBLEM - ACTIVESYNC - SEEMS TO STRUGGLE TO REPRODUCE RELIABLE COPIES IN MY IPAQ. THEISSUE SEEMS TO REVOLVE AROUND GRAPHICAL CONTENT. 1ST QUESTION. how IS THE PPC inbox supposed to reflect graphical content? Iassume that it only reports the text only component. Is that correct? Also enetbot seems to handle this - ie the text components are shown on my ipaq. The AOL2POP version displays no content at all. I know this is not strictly an ipaq issue but those of us who seem to br pushing the envelope - seem to be ipaq users. It would be great to hear from anyone who has input on this -
