I have an HP laptop with I.R.
Is there a way to make it compatible with my UX40?

Have you tried setting the UX40 to sync via infrared (making sure that Hotsync Manager is open)?

I tried running Hot Sync but got the error : unable to connect because the port is in use by another application.
Im not sure if they mean an app. on the UX40 or the laptop.
I was able transfer files using the IR progrem on my Laptop.
