I'm fairly new to the whole PDA Thing and still have many questions.
Have been trying to download a Slot Machine Game ( Freeware and Shareware) but keep getting the message:
"Cannot copy to the destination file. Make sure that the mobile is not write protected or full and that all setup programs on the device are completed."
One program adviced me to download
"Macromedia Flash Player" which I did.
Another program adviced me to download
".Net Compact Framework" , which I have done (but can't seem to find it on the device now).
My laptop had WinXP Home SP1 on it
and the iPaq 3630 has Win CE 2003 on it.
Got any ideas????

A link to the site that you got the game from would be a big help. There are a few things to consider: some of the games consist of double-clicking on the executable while the Ipaq is connected, and it loads that way. Others are just one or more files that you need to place to a specified folder, or a folder of your choosing, and just execute them from the Ipaq (such situations usually are detailed in the readme file). Last thing I can think of it's a cab file and that too you need to double-click on, or if you have a cab installer program, you can control where it goes.

Thank you for your help,Iman74.
The website is:PocketGear.com (Slotmachine Arms 1.0)
When I download the trial version I get as far as the slotmachine icon on the desktop of the laptop. ( I keep active sync running while downloading).
When I double click on the icon the whole screen opens but is black with no slot machine visible.
Before that it tells me that windows can't open this file (slotmachine) and windows needs to know what program created it.
The option is to check online and let windows look it up automatically.
When I choose this option, Firefox comes up but the page is blank.
The other option is to manually select from a list of programs on the computer.
In this case when I choose this option and select C:/ Doc. Settings, etc.
it tells me that "SLot ..." is not a valid Win 32 application.
I don't know what else to do.
Have installed .Net Compact Frameworks and Macromedia Flash.
Sorry about this long post....
If you have any ideas I would sure appreciate it.:(

1st make sure that the downloaded file is completed and not damaged, you may want to redownload it again, the size should be around 1.8 mb.
2nd The file is actually a compressed executable file, make sure you save it as .exe file.
And 3rd if your're still have problem, you can download and install compression utility such as winzip or winrar;
http://www.winzip.com/
http://www.rarlab.com/
And right click on the slot file and uncompress it to some place on your drive, there should be setup.exe in the folder and just run it on the desktop and follow the install wizard.
