I have an iPAQ 2215 with a SanDisk CF Connect Plus Wi-Fi Card running Pocket PC 2003.

My network consists of a Linksys Router (non-wireless) and a Microsoft MN-700 Wireless Router set up as an access point. My laptop runs fine on the wireless network with no problems, but my PDA doesn't. The iPAQ will see the workgroup as available, but will not connect. I've even tried a few of the sniffer programs and they also see the network with good signal strength, but will not connect.

I've been searching for days for people with similar configurations to see if they had to do anything special to get the iPAQ to connect to the access point.

Here's a wifi guide for axim, but it should apply to ipaq as well;

Thanks, I looked at the site, and tried to configure step by step, still no connection. Any more tips??

I'm thinking the configuration problems are at the router end being that there really aren't any configuration options in Pocket PC 2003.

First wouldliketoknow whether your ipaq recognizes APpoint ,
if you are using Proxy server then use Work settings or else use internet settings Also checkwehther you are using any WEP keys ao MAC address Filtering on the Wireless Access Point ,if you are using MAC address Filtering then you should enter IPAQ 's MAC address in Access Point Entry .

Also on Ipaq verify if valid ip address are assigned ,if assigned try to Ping this ip address from a notebook and check out the reply message , if ur able to get replay messages then it means ur ipaq is connected to network , check out proxy server settings and Port number if using .

If Ip address are invalid then there some issues in communicating ipaq to Access Point or DHCP unable to give ip address to ipaq .Try manually entering Ip address (Static IP address).
