ok, ever since daylight savings I have been having problems with my appointments showing up an hour off. I can set the time to the correct time yet when I go into my appointments they are all an hour early...like when I have class at 9:35 it says it's at 8:35 even thought I changed the time by going to settings -> clock and changing the time...and saving it.
Now when I hotsync with my home computer (which is set to the correct time for daylight savings and I haven't had an issue with it) it will automatically change the time back to predaylight savings....(when I would change it from 8 to 9 once I hotsync it changes it back to 8 and I have to go back in and change it back to 9 but my appointments are still off by an hour....
so what gives? or did any of this make any sense? lol
thanks!

Check the time zone of both pocketpc and desktop and see if they match. On the desktop, there's also an option to automatically adjust for DST, see if you have it checked.

the desktop PC already compensates for DST......time zones match up just fine!?

Does your device allow you to set the time as an offset of GMT? I so, change that to the appropriate hours. You may have to reset your time, but that you already know how to do.

Red, check these and see if they give you any hints on the problem...

ok - so if I read that first article right....
I need to set the time on my computer to -6 AND check the automatically adjust for daylight savings, AND set it for -6 on the PDA.....which is what I have done....and it still messes up, infact it's what I've had done.....maybe I'm reading the article wrong?

Turn off the daylight savings time feature on your desktop, go into your desktop bios during a reboot and set the current correct time there, make sure you don't have any daylight savings time options set there either. Boot up your computer and Windows should read the time correctly from your computer's internal clock. Now the daylight savings time should no longer be a factor.
You may have to power down in order for the time resets to be recognized by the computer.
I hate DLST anyways, spring forward, fall back...I don't care when it gets dark outside...stupid idea.
