Hi,
OK, potentially a stupid question (or two).
I'm about to go over to Paris for a few weeks on business (yes, life is tough). My trusty Visor Prism/Sprint Digital Link combination obviously won't work over there, so I bought a cheap unlocked GSM Visorphone on eBay (and expensed it ;-> ). Supposedly I can just buy a cheap SIM card in Paris, and everything should work.
Does anyone have any advice on SIM cards, US/France rates, etc.? And where can I find information about using the Palm OS data capabilities? I can find information about carriers, but nothing about the Prefs settings (Service, Password, Connection, Phone, etc.). I'm hoping that I'll be able to use my email (Eudora), IM (Verichat), browser, Avantgo, etc., just as I do here in the US, via Sprint.
If anyone has any pointers, I'd be very thankful.
