I'm contemplating getting the T3 and was wondering how is the battery life compared to the original TT? I've read it is worse, but wondering by how much.

I will be using it to look up information very seldomly during the day, entering financial transactions maybe 5-8 times a day, but will mostly be using it for Internet access and to control my computer remotely at work for about 15-30 minutes a day (so will be using bluetooth during this time).

So do you think it will be worth it for me to get the T3? The extra speed and landscape view would be nice, along with the memory. But I'm able to sacrifice that if the battery is really that much worse than the TT.

Thanks.

I get about 3 to 3.5 hours of continuous use out of the T3. It's about half the life of the Tungsten T that I had.

It's not a problem for me because I'm usually "office bound" and it's only when travelling that you really make certain to take along a charger. The key guard feature that keeps the T3 from coming on accidentally actually aids the life of the battery over the Tungsten T's because the way the buttons were on it....unit would be on while in my pocket.

That doesn't happen with the T3.

3 hours is a benchmark you can work off of?
