How to turn off Treo screen blank

The Treo 600 is designed to turn off and lock the screen after a paltry 3 minutes. This is bloody inconvenient mainly because whatever app I was in goes away in favor of the auto-on app that pops up when the screen lock is disengaged.

Is there a way to either increase the time or disable the auto-off, or, if not, to return the Treo to the app it was on before it powered off the screen?

I used this on some older devices. It works on a UX50 which is an OS5 device so it'll probably work on the Treo.
