Sometimes when I send an SMS message to a friends mailbox, their hitting "Reply" returns an MMS message to me. In that case I can see the name and the subject line but the rest of the message is nowhere to be found. I can't get any of it to show, regardless of the view I use. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? I seen to be able to SEND MMS messages fine...I just can't view them when I receive them.

Does this only occur with ONE friend? I've had it that I've received WEIRD messages from people that have Cingular, but those from Verizon, Sprint, and ATT are fine. From Cingular, I would get my old message and part of their message. Check to see if people on other networks can send you messages. Also make sure you have had your phone upgraded. If you have Sprint, they have upgraded their stuff to improve SMS messenging. One last thing would be to make sure, if you switched phone companies and kept your number (ported), that you have been COMPLETELY switced over. My brother also has a Treo and it took Verizon 5 months to get him PORTED!!!! But the day it finally ported, SMS messaging worked normally.
Good Luck!

the issue is not with SMS...I can see those just fine, it's with MMS messages. I can only see the subject line on the ones I receive. Seems to happen with everyone and I don't know why some responses come thru SMS and others are MMS.

Sorry, I thought you had meant SMS messages.
I've had that problem too and just don't use. I remember having to clear my internet cache, cookies, and history in order to get it working. Try doing that. Mine worked after doing that. But other than that I've never followed up on it with Sprint cause I don't use it.

I just recently read that the Treo 600 does NOT have the capability to receive MMS messages. I just had a number ported over from AT&T that was tied to an MMS capable fone. I had an alert service that sent MMS msgs daily. Once the service was trying to send to my Treo they came through garbled. Sprint told me the Troe cannot receive them.
