We all like going to the movies, right? Even though you need a small mortgage nowadays, those of us who travel a lot sometimes just want to sit there with our girl and take in a flick.

Problem is you're often in the middle of nowhere, it's 7:30, you don't feel like buying a paper, you hit a couple of theaters if you can find them . . . . all in all a pain in the ass, not to mention the lines when you get there on the last minute.

What if you could carry a file on your SD Card, say around 250k in size, with EVERY THEATER and EVERY MOVIE time in Southern California -- downloaded automatically every Friday when the movies change - and hotsynced to a TealInfo Folio? Hit the zip code you're in, search by title or theater, and all the times and theater info are right there. Now that's a reason to have the web and especially if you can automate the process BEFORE you go out of town!!

Well here's TealAgent 1.53 Beta (and counting) - you now have a HANDHELD version of the app, can set when you want the auto-sync done ("After 8AM every Friday" in my case) - and also have at your disposal a Universal Page clipper, a CSV File clipper, a restaurant database which will load the munchie-menus into a TealMeal database for you OR a DOCUMENT Additionally there's ebay stuff, CNN News, and several other plug-ins I haven't even PLAYED WITH YET. It's just great!!

and go to beta page. New TealAgent self installs, has uninstall, and puts the app on your Palm for you (previous versions were "almost" as easy, but involved unpacking a folder and having it "create folders" -- too many nosebleed victims, so TealPoint made it "Point and Load."

This is the best revamping of an app for Teal since TealScript BLAZED ahead wit big improvements - other "web download" apps are bloated and huge and perhaps pretty - but this one gets it done in 1.5MB on the PC and 180k on the handheld, and individual zip code TealInfo folios for ALL theaters in your zip code (and beyond, should you choose near/farther/far option) average around 30-32k depending on how big your city is.

This thing ROCKS and for those of you familiar with the old TealAgent, around FOUR TIMES improved. Just super. Try it!!
