As of 10/20/2002, my Clie won't sync anymore. Receive error message, "The connection between your handheld computer and the desktop could not be established. Please check your setup and try again."

I'm running Windows ME. I have checked cables, moved USB connector to another slot, and re-installed Sony software. I've hit the reset button on back.

Time to buy a new cradle?
What else is there to do/try?

This happened to me a while back and when I talked to sony they said "firmly hold the clie down on the cradle when attempting to sync". I did and it got a connection for a secong then quit again. I had it sent in for repair, and if yours is still under warrantte maybe you can get it fixed. But yes it sounds like a new cradle is in order.
