Hi,

I use rechargeable NiMH batteries (UniRoss ones if that's any help). I get about the same performance as standard alkaline as far as I can tell (haven't really looked into it in that much depth as I change them every week :-) )

I downloaded a program that allowed me to tell the Clie that it was using rechargables as well, but can't find it at the moment. If I do I'll let you know. It changes the 'warning' voltage levels so it's more accurate (NiMH have a lower voltage level than standard AAs so the alarm would go off too soon)

regards,
Rich

I use NiMH batteries from Varta without any problems. With the program Battery Prefs you can tell the Clié what kind of batteries you use. It is a small program. Registration will cost you $ 5,00.
