On several occasions, the battery on my 4155 has been totally drained - usually overnight. This time, I couldn't even get it to take a charge (no light when plugged into cradle) until I first took the battery out for a few seconds.

I have all the buttons locked so they don't turn it on, have power saver set to turnoff after 2 minutes and have WiFi on auto power save.

Before I turned it off last night, I had WiFi on with the Boingo client running - turned off WiFi and exited the Boingo client. I may have done this another time when the battery drained - but not sure.

Anyone have a simmilar experience or any ideas on how to prevent it?

I have only noticed that the 4155 turns on for no reason.. and that will contrubte to the battery drain over night.. but then my ipaq usually have 90%+ power the next day.

Check activesync setting and see if if you have it set for automatically schedule sync. If yes, you may want to use manual or on connection option instead.

You were right Answer Dude! Active sync was set for automatic although I don't know why cause I remember having disabled this a long time ago. Anyway, have disabled it, so I' see if it ever happens again.

Thanks,
