Hi there,
some idiot stole my handera last weekend and I'd like to buy a new one. Does anyone out there have an idea where to get some (there are none on ebay anymore).
It's the only Palm OS pda device that really makes sence!
cheers

Recently I found many Handera 330 selling on ebay. Prices for some are quite exaggerated but thankfully not all. It is the first time for many months that I have seen so many Handera 330 ready to be bought in one place!

TRGpro are around now and them but often match or even overpass the prices of the Handeras!

I think that this time period provides a good opportunity for a Handera seeker to go for it.

Best Regards,

Greg

I found one in the end ... was really lucky (100 Euro ~ 120 USD) .
I guess the reason why these devices go on the market now is that there are so many new and shiny palm pda's out there with multimedia functionality. People do look strange at you nowadays with an 'ancient' device like the handera. Still I stick to it as it fullfills all my needs.

It even has a "retro" design to look even more ancient! ;)

I love the retro Handera look... much more than the one of newer devices (ie zire etc). Although Handeras are considered "ancient" they are sold with high prices on ebay and e commerce sites that I have encountered.

Besides, I don't find Handera 330 ancient at all. Is still fast, it has very good multimedia features, it has a clear high quality and high resolution screen, it can store thousands of programs and utilities from both MMC and Compact Flash Cards, it has zoom and rotate screen abilities and an advanced grafiti system. Most of all it is still compatible and shares the same peripherals as all III series devices so that means you can find everything you want on ebay or elsewhere at very competitive prices.

And with its OS you have almost unlimited (most of it free) software as well...

I find zire and zire21 which are newer machines, far more ancient than a Handera. I would prefer the Handera330 over those any day!

Be the envy of your friends with your "ancient - retro - obsolete - archaic - vintage - old - out of date" Handera330! :D :D :D

Find the hidden power of your Handera330 here: (http://www.pdastreet.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=38815)

Lots and lots of discussion related to the multimedia capabilities of Palm III series, TRGpro and Handera. It is also expanded to topics that are connected with multimedia on PDAs such as Flash Card Storage and Battery Packs (multimedia on a PDA can be energy consuming intensive). This thread is updated by me regularly.

I am planning to add movie making for Kinoma player for Palm III/TRGpro/Handera330 in about a week time!

More reviews for multimedia programs running in III series/TRGpro/Handera to come!
