I just tried to install track conduit on my office machine, and halfway through it errored... something about not being able to find a binary 22, but I can't reproduce the message. Anyway, I tried to install it again, but it said I needed to uninstall first.. However, I can't uninstall it either, as it gives me a "failed to extract file 'newbinary21' from the binary table.. then you press ok, and the message "fatal error during installation" pops up...
Any guesses? it doesn't appear to work either, download tracks, that is..

Try system restore!!
Start -> All Programs -> Accesories -> System Tools -> System Restore
Choose "restore" and then, choose the date before you installed the software.

I am having trouble too. My error said it couldn't find "HSAPI.dll" The file is in my computer in the same folder.
Called tech support, he said to uninstall mapsource 6 and use v 5. That did not work either.
Is anyone getting their tracks off of their iQue? If so how?
Thanks

You can simply import tracks from your iQue into Mapsource.

v 5 only looks for serial conections and v 6 says no tracks on my iQue.

Point of Clarification:
MapSource does NOT connect directly to the iQue, like it does to many traditional Garmin products. Since the iQue is a Palm-Powered device, it works through the Hotsync paradigm. For example, when you tell it to make some maps for the iQue, it makes the maps and then stores the file in your Palm profile folder on your computer, where it sits until the next hotsync.
Similarly when you "import" tracks from your iQue into MapSource, it doesn't link directly to the iQue. Rather, it looks for & opens a specific file in your Palm profile folder. If installed in the default location, this should be at C:\Program Files\Palm\<user_name>\Tracks\Tracks.mps. This file appears when you hotsync and have the Track conduit installed. Note: It is overwritten every time you hotsync, so if you want to save a particular file, you should move/rename it.
