cannot pair nokia 6230 with hp 1940

I tried to connect nokia 6230 with my hp 1940 use bluetooth, but there is message show on nokia 6230:"connection rejucted for security reason"
The there anything I can do, like change the settings or update the rom?

This is a hardware problem in the Widcomm bluetooth stack, there is a fix out there for it, check this thread:

It has to do with the way passkeys are exchanged, in order to install the firmware update you'll have to downgrade the ipaq from 1.10 to 1.0 :(

OK, that just cost me a morning, the patch HP released indeed only works on 1.0 and NOT on 1.10... HP is completely clueless as usual :(

HP have a link to the 1.0 rom, so you can decide whether to downgrade or not :(

I had to, and then also found out that the backups don't work, so I'm reinstalling all my software :(

the service pack from hp did work on rom 1.0
