Am I alone in finding Grafitti 2 a big disappointment?? Slow to use, difficult to write, prone to mis-writing..... So awful do I find it, that I asked Palm if anyone made a patch to allow my Tungsten T2 to use Grafitti1. They reacted with the standard marketing spiel that Grafitti2 was so much more advanced and user-friendly....
What do others think?? And has anyone written a routine to allow "old" grafitti to run on Tungsten...??

Unzip this file, put the two files inside on your SD card, then use FileZ or some other file-management app to copy them to RAM. Do a soft reset and presto! Graffiti 1!
Palm can't use Graffiti 1 anymore because Xerox sued them and they (Palm) lost. Xerox claimed that Palm stole G1 from them.

Yes, it is much different, especially if you're (very) accustomed to G1.

It's different in that you have to "cross the t's", if you know what I mean :)

Many thnaks to all you helpful people - I did as you said, loaded the graffitti 1 files, used FileZ to move them, did a soft reset and- voila!! Bliss! - dear old Graffitti 1 again! Oh, the joy of single-stroke t's and i's and everything... Thanks to all.
One small problem - I can't seem to get it to do a "k" - when I try the graffitti 1 single stroke version, I seem to end up with a "c"....
Any ideas, anyone...??

Please ignore that request about letter "k" in my last posting - I have just rmembered how to do one properly, and it is fine.
Ooooh, the bliss of being able to input again, smoothly, easily and quickly....
