I've purchased a T3 recently. I've never used a PDA before, so this is my first experience.

I have Outlook Express on my laptop, and Outlook and Outlook Express on my desktop. I've also installed all the software included with my T3.

The T3 won't synchronize contacts with Outlook 2003 (XP)...apparently not supported.

So I moved my contacts into the "Palm Desktop" program that was newly installed on my Desktop.

There are many contacts in there now...hundreds. Yet when I synch, there's no change in my contacts in my PDA. How do I get them on my PDA? Also, why doesn't the T3 automatically transfer all of my Outlook contacts into the T3 when I synch? What am I doing wrong? Also, how come when I synch it doesn't ask me if I want to slave the PDA to the Desktop, or the Desktop to the PDA? I could see this causing some serious problems in the future when synchronizing my PDA.

-Frustrated and confused...

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
John

To change the settings on what and how it syncs, open Hotsync Manager right click on the sync icon on the taskbar and hit "custom..." then you can set what the computer is to do when it syncs. I'm not sure this is the problem, but that is the only thing I can think of.

The Tungsten T3 does sync with Outlook 2003. Make sure you install the update - http://www.palmone.com/us/support/downloads/outlookupdate2k3.html
