alx Install Files

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a full listing of the fileds available to the alx files and what each field does.

I am attempting to make a silent install, and was thinking that the alx files would be a good place to start.

Also, are the alx file compatible with the 957/857 devices? I noticed that most people have been mentioning them in assocaiton with Java based models.
