Those of you who are long time listeners.....(Ann) will no doubt be aware of the on going debate about which Datebook program is better, Datebook5 or Agendus.
Here (http://support.iambic.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=61) is the new Beta for Agendus in version 8.0.
It has several new features and rather than list them here, if your interest is moderately peaked then I'd suggest you go download the beta and play.
Since I'm almost exclusively on my Treo, I haven't loaded it to the Que but it is working on my hardware.
There are several threads at the above site that need to be reviewed in order to fully use the program.
Reinbeau and I have had a very friendly debate about which one is better. And I will say this that both have advantages but the gap seems to have narrowed.....the one thing that I really like is now a seperate program called "MakeSpot". This allows coloring of individual choices for holidays or the user's whim. It is at the moment a stand alone program but was the missing link that I had always requested. It is also available in one of the threads for preview.
CAUTION: If you have never been a "beta" tester of software you may want to wait. I strongly suggest that you be familiar with keeping a backup of the none beta version handy if for some reason of conflict etc. If your not comfortable in doing Palm software beta testing and your abilities to restore your device and software in a quick and timely fashion then be advised.
I've been playing with this beta for most of today and have had no crashes so it appears stable but again - it's not on my Que and probably won't be until late next week as I was gone last week and will be travelling again this week.
