Getting Updates from Betty?

I just finished a trip from FL to NC, with the iQ determining the entire route. The first "via" calculated by the iQue was: "Drive 389 miles and exit right," which was for an exit off I-95 north. And I never heard from Betty again for 5+ hours (approx 387 miles), which was just under 2 miles to go to the "via").

Maybe it's just me getting lonely (or bored) on the highway, but I would prefer more frequent/regular updates from Betty without having to enter my own via's or waypoints along the way just to get her to speak to me occasionally. Is there a way to program something like "voice guidance updates every xx minutes" or a button or icon to select that will directly activate an update from Betty?

Push and hold in the Que button to hear from Betty anytime you want to.

Now you did it! We will have all of the programmers on this forum racing to see who can get a program out first that will activate a "Long Hold" on the Q button every XX minutes to update how many miles to the next turn.......... If they do I hope they precede the update with a loud cat hissing sound to scare the bejesus out of the curious :p
