I am doing some research for a team project. We are to make recommendations and discover all implications of installing self-made Visual Basic Program on a PDA. The program itself is a simple conversion tool and I am unaware of how to install it on a PDA. Also, are there any concerns that i should have with this endeavour?
Thank you for your time.

Becouse you're posting here i take for granted by PDA you mean PDA's running on PalmOS, not on CE or something else?
To install it on a palm you need to convert you vb program into a palm-platform program, but i believe there also is a program supporting some sort of direct use of it on you palm (will give more info asap).
Some considerations:
Though the official development language for palm is C, there should be tools available for using vb to create a program for the palm platform. For more info check the language info on palm.com. (http://www.palmos.com/dev/start/environments.html)
The palm OS series <5 and palm OS 5 are totally different (palm OS 5 does support programs for palm OS series <5 but it uses emulation for that).
Loads of info on palm program development can be found here. (http://www.palmsource.com/developers/)

you would need vb6 and appforge.
