I'm sure I don't need to tell how valuable this forum is, but I'll say it anyway. This forum is valuable!
Anyway, I need help, business-wize that is.
I am in the commercial insurance business. My day consists of driving to counties in my state, NY, parking, and often walking a block or two to my clients. I use a binder and I am trying to figure out how to incorporate the ique and an external ant.. As to the Ique, I use the gps and maps to locate the client. Then I keep notes of my visit in the pda. (Might be confusing, but want to keep this some-what short so not to be too boring.)
I would like to know how others out there are incorporating the ique in their daily business day.
Thanks for any help.

I use it similar to the way you describe. My travels are a little broader so I keep waypoints for my destinations and the hotel I stay at. Since I only visit each site once or twice a year, I keep notes of things that will help me get my bearings next time I visit: names and numbers, equipment locations, special setup info, problems to watch for, useful resourses, etc. I also use the date book to maintain my general travel schedule, but I avoid hourly details. In my situation it's too much bother for whatever benefit it might give.

Thanks doodah for the response.
What I am trying to figure out is how to attach an ant. for walking but still have it neat for client visit.

It may be helpful if you could tell us what kind of binder. I've used the iQue on many occasions with the external antenna and a clipboard. I just used a clip to hold down the antenna wire and a velcro dot to secure the antenna itself.
How are you trying to use it? With the binder closed and the iQue inside or with the binder open?
Finally, why do you need to use the external antenna? I've noticed something unusual happening -I've almost stopped using mine entirely. I think a lot of the effect was novelty at first, seeing all 12 bars at the top was pretty cool, but then I came to the conclusion that the internal antenna is plenty good enough in most situations and it's just one less thing to carry around.
My idea for a binder mounting solution would be making a small hole in the top of the spine, running the antenna through the hole and attaching the antenna to the top left corner of the binder with double sided tape or velcro. You would momentarily lose sat reception when you open the binder to check your position but it would come right back as soon as you closed it.
Oh, and just curious, where in Long Island do you live, I grew up in Patchogue.
While hiking/walking I use the external antenna like that: I put a thin piece of sheet metal between t-shirt/undershirt and shirt and the antenna will be fixed between jacket and shirt. I wear the iQue in the inner pocket of my jacket. Sounds ridiculous but looks nicer than wearing the antenna on a hat = that would look like a teletubby.
