3970 and Windows 2002 Service Pack 1 or 2

Hi All,

I just recently bought a 3970 with Windows 2002 but there appears to be no service pack installed on it (Active Sync -> Tools and only 2 options, no 'Server' option).

I had a look on the Compaq Support site and there are various SoftPaq ROM upgrades for all the other iPAQ's but not the 3970.

Am I missing something here?? I'm desperate to get this little beauty patched up as my VPN settings don't appear to be saved (something that one of the Service Packs apparently fixes) and thats the main reason why I got it ;)

Any help or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

You are lucky enough to have purchased an iPAQ for which there are no service packs (yet). The next service pack will address fixes in current iPAQ models including the 3900 series.
