Can't figure it out. I also use an IMAP account, but it WILL NOT sync!

So what I just did; is I setup an IMAP account on my PDA, so everytime I sync with the cradel it will update my e-mail. Works great to! :D

If you can sync then you can create the account directly on the iPAQ. THis would free you from having to have Outlook to sync the account. Pocket Outlook 2002 can have multiple accounts with multiple type besides using sync. They use IMAP, POP3, and Syncing as ways to get your mail. I personaly use the IMAP and direct connected method. This method, the one mentioned at the begging of this post, allows me to use ActiveSync as a Network Adapter through syncing or to use my mobile phone to through dial-up to access my account via IMAP. If you have any question on setting this up let me know.

With my wireless provider I have to have "data" turned on with my wireless mobile account account, so you'll need to check on this. Next I have setup dial-up sessions with IR or BT (whichever you prefer) in the "Start Button" -> "Settings" -> "Connections" tab -> "Connections" applet. In there change the two drop downs to "Internet". Then click one of the "Modify" buttons, this brings up a new screen a new connection item. This is very similar to a typical ISP. Now that you have this done, right click on your new Dial-up session, and set it to always dial. If you need help setting up Outlook let me know.
