My Ipaq 3850 is sometimes playing a nasty trick on me: when any of the pop-up alerts coming from calender pops up, as programmed, the iPaq never switches off anymore. This does not happen all the time, but it does sometimes. Sometimes when i dig up the iPaq I discover it is switched on, and after clicking "done" or "snooze", and doing anything else with it, i switch it off, or it does so automatically after whatever time was set in power-settings.
However, if it happens, and I do not see it for a few days (I can live without it for that long, really) the things stays on, the battery drains, and I have to reinstall everything afterwards, because it doesn't have a backup battery....
This is getting on my nerves. A colleague, who has the 3870 (?) tells me he has had the same problem, and is replacing it for that reason.
Anybody any suggestions?
