512 MB SD card for $100!!

and we find the catch is that it may turn out to be a sad disk :( ...but hey for a $100 for 512 MB, maybe that'll make us happier.

I guess solid state media is hitting the "waterfall" like cdrs and hopefully soon dvdr's and dropping in price.

The first thing I do when looking at an item on Ebay, is to scroll down to "Ships to". If it says "US only", I don't read further.

I got my 512M SanDisk off of eBay for $70 + $6 shipping a few weeks ago. The auction had a buy it now, and was only 6 minutes old when I bought it. It took me about 1 minute to check all the important stuff, like the sellers feedback, shipping cost, it was new, etc.

It just takes some watching, and getting lucky. I had been about to get 256M since I didn't want to pay $100+ for a 512M.
