Check to see if there is a Palm store near you. I picked mine up yesterday at a Palm store in San Jose.

Yesterday (the first day of its release), I checked 2 Staples, 1 Circuit City, 2 Best Buys, and 1 Office Depot around the San Francisco East Bay area. None knew of the Tungsten T! ... I had received an email from Palm and a flyer in snail mail from Palm. I phoned them this morning, took advantage of the free overnight shipping, and received a confirmation email with FedEx tracking number. I'll have my Tungsten T sometime tomorrow. ... I am amazed that some Staples around the country are selling them, while others know nothing about them.

Also, for what it is worth, Harmony Computers in New York is listing the Tungsten T for $449.00 on their web site, but state that there is a 1 week back order. I'm not sure about shipping charges.

My Tungsten arrived at my office today. So far, everything has worked "as advertised" and the experience has been great! I'm happy!

Glad to hear you are enjoying your Tungsten. I spent many hours with it yesterday as I have biology notes stored on it and used them to study for a mid term.

So far, I've spent 95% of my TT time getting acquainted with my Tungsten, installing and trying applications, moving things from RAM to SD Card and back, and just having fun. The other 5% of my PDA time was work related. ... I envy you. I wish PDAs, notebook computers, and wireless networks existed when I went to college.

OldBlue,

Glad to hear that 95% of your TT time was spent having "fun" and not doing "work". To me that is time well spent. =) Having a pda and laptop at school definitely has its advantages, but it is way too tempting to start a game of Warcraft 3 during a drawn out Finite Math lecture. ;-)
