Please help.
My screen went screwey the moment i plugged in the active sync cable!
Aaarrrggghhh!!!
This is the third time that my iPAQ1940 has gone fro the work tool that i use every single day to a £250 paperweight!
Please see attached pic and see if anyone can offer any ideas!

Their technical dept are fantastic they are a never ending source of info.
But their customer services!
Jeez they just say that
"HP will continue to repair any apparent hardware faults as they arise!"
They just keep trying to pass me off to the retailer that i bought the unit from but they are in yorkshire and i am in kent! only about 400miles apart!
AAARRRGGGHHH!!!!
Sorry if i am ranting i just needed HP to say that one more time and i would have gone postal!

Looking at your pic, there appears to be a crack on the bottom right corner of the screen. It may have cracked when sliding it in the cradle.

Sorry to spoil your astute observation! :p
But i don't have a cradle!
I just plug the lead supplied straight into the bottom of the iPAQ!
Still HP are collecting it from my work address and are putting my complaint froward to another of their departments!

I agree, the screen looks cracked. I cracked my cellphone screen last year and it looked pretty similar. Have also seen cracked laptop screens that resembled it.
If it gets to HP and they tell you it is cracked you can always say it got cracked during shipping. :D
