Problem syncing my IPAQ 2215 thru WiFi with Sygate firewall running

Hi,

I hope someone can help.

I activesync fine thru wifi with my firewall turned off. once sync is connected I can turn on the firewall and keep my sync connected. Once I break the sync connection (turn off the Ipaq) and turn it back on and try and sync again I cant seem to get it to sync again unless I turn the firewall off again or allow all traffic (not what I want to do). I have the firewall set up to allow the activesync but it still doesn't.

Does this make sense?

Any help would be appreciated.

If you ahve the sygate pro, go into advanced rules and make a rule to allow all trafic to and from the mac address of your iPAQ. THe mac address can be found on the WiFi card or if it';s integrated wi-fi in the system info applet under settigns.
