Jornada 680 and Ethernet??

My Jornada 680 is not recognizing my PCMIA Ethernet adapter when it is inserted - no "add new hardware" dialog box appears. I am using a dual speed 10/100 CompUSA (FMI) ethernet adapter w/ 32-bit bus. Will this card work? Any suggestions?

I'm not a 680 owner, but am a Nec 780 owner. I too tried my ethernet card in my handheld to no avail. It worked fine in my laptop, but not my CE device.

First, go to the manufacturer's web site and see if your device is listed or if they have a driver for your device.

I ended up gettng a Socket LP/E card on EBay for $15 and it works great now.

Check out this site for specific listing of cards that have been reported to work and those that don't.
