Gecko Dude 05-19-2004, 07:30 PM Looks like some cool stuff http://www.mobilegadgetnews.com/hp.html Legend 05-20-2004, 09:16 PM How come they aren't using 802.11g for built in wifi? tap2 05-21-2004, 01:53 PM $499 - Release July '04 - Monroe (Performance) >> 400 MHz, 64MB/64MB, PPC2003SE, 3.5 Transflective, Bluetooth, 802.11b, 1.3 MP Camera, SDIO, Cradel, Nevo Medial Manager, Universal Remote Looks nace :D I aint spending another penny on an Ipaq until storage becomes cheaper. Otherwise, I'm off to buy an mp3 player. psi2k 05-21-2004, 06:38 PM ooooOOOOOOoooo Ohhhhh i want one of each now please HP if your reading!! Just for testing and evaluation purposes! Now the only question is will HP offer a phone carrier or will we still have to be stuck with O2 and Orange etc. in the UK? tap2 05-22-2004, 09:49 AM I think PDA Phones are the ugliest things on the planet. It's far cheaper to go out and buy a PDA, rather than pay £100 for one AND about £30 a month. strickjh05 05-23-2004, 04:29 AM 64MB of RAM? pshh weak suace. I want a 256! Deadmaninc 05-25-2004, 12:13 AM I dont like the fact that there is no bluetooth on the low priced H1700 ($230) and the next one up is $350. If they made one 200 and the other $300 I might be intrested in an upgrade. Since my H1945 comes with the bluetooth built in and 64mb of memory and this low end model the H1700 suppose to replace it I expect it to at least come with bluetooth built in and replacable battery just like the 1900 series came with. In my opinion its small step down. tap2 05-25-2004, 12:50 PM I hope the USD:GBP rate stays low. We British are laughing our ass of at the moment. I could buy a $600 Ipaq for only £320!!!! My mate just returned from the US, went on a gadget-spending-spree... PDA Street
