Trying to get my iPaq h1945 pocket pc connected to the internet thru Cingular service with a Motorola V600 bluetooth phone (for a modem). I have MediaWorks (data service with Cingular - GPRS). So far - their techs have not been able to assist me with the settings/codes, etc. needed to be entered so as to be able to make said connection. I know that there has to be someone out there who's done this - but nothing I've seen in any forums, etc. has been able to help me yet. I've tried a lot! Anyone out there been there/done that who can assist? :-)

Here's AT&T Setup of Motorola V600 to Pocket PC 2003 using Built in Bluetooth for GPRS. It may help.

Thanks for your reply! :) Possibly this would work IF I had AT&T service - but I don't. However, I had taken note of this very writing somewhere and yet the lady who posted it said it had not, in fact, worked for her.

Yet another contact with Cingular proved fruitless today. My computer tech at work dialed the dialup numberCingular had
provided and it actually rang my cellphone! What it tuned out to be is the data services number (to give me downloads) - but it rang MY phone number. This is NOT connecting me to the internet (having Cingular/their data servcies - MediaWorks). My computer tech (at work) thinks that Cingular does not act as an ISP - and that I need an ISP. . .Do you know if this is so - OR if it's actually possible to get an internet connection with my Motorola V600 bluetooth phone for my iPaq h1945 pocket pc and Cingular service (again with MediaWorks - data - GPRS)?

Thanks for any/all help you (or anyone else) can provide (and thanks again for your reply to my post). :-) Still hoping to get this solved before I have to return my cellphone to Cingular next week and hang it all up.:)
