hi gang,

please excuse my ignorance here... PDA newb :>

i just bought a new 2210 & I am having trouble installing my first application. It is a term emulator program vxHpc... the downloaded zip file have more zip files within them all with what appears to be the same files.

anyways I have tried extracting each of the zip files one at a time & tried installing the app & it goes thru the motions but none of the zip files seem to install anything on my PDA.

the different zip files seem to perhaps have names that indicate the chipset for the particular Pocket PC model. Can anyone please tell me what chipset the 2210 uses... hopefully that may help figure this out.

thanx

Your right, they are for different processors. All iPAQs use ARM compatible. If you copy the one names "arm" to your ipaq, you then need to go to the ipag, pen up file explorer and clcik on the file. It iwll then install it.
