Good morning.
I'm thinking of purchasing the Ique 3600, but would like the opinions of the experts one more time. I've read through the threads here and have come to the conclusion that the Ique does seem to have some issues (although what device doesn't).
Can some of the users here give me the pros/cons of this device and whether or not they see any of the issues as being deal breakers?
Thanks for the help.

All I can say is that I would NOT be without my iQue! Despite the "issues" as you put it. I am on my fourth unit but since getting this one I have had no issues with it. It has a serial number of 9141xxxx.
In my opinion it is well worth buying. And if you should get a unit that has some "issues", Garmin has excellent customer support!

Thanks Robin.
Is the serail number only evident on the unit itself or does it also appear on the box?
Thanks again for the help.

Prior to the IQue I used a Hanspring PDA and a Garmin III+ GPS. On a ten point scale they rate a 4. The IQue with its issues is a sure 8.
I have returned 2 already, and dread being without it if this one would need returning. Of interest this latest one is in its 5 month and has the lowest serial number. I have put over 25,000 miles on mine. With the bean bag cradle and Gilsson antenna it is hard to beat.
Go for it.

I just got mine on Friday, and all I can say is
OH....MY!!!!
This device is wonderful- how did I ever get along without it?
Just get it.

I would have to say that asking if the ique is worth it, to this board is retorical (can't spell:D ). The fact that there are this many people, dare I say obsessed with discussing the ique should be proof enough of its value.
Basicly, IMO and many others, the ique is what to buy if you need integration of contacts and navigation in portable form. or, portable navigation with maps.
For me, time and time again the ique proves its worth. The fact that it sometimes fails can be embarrising, more so since I talk about it so much. I feel that the "bugs" actually help us to bond and get creative on ways to fix or get around.

The iQue is terrific! I have had mine for about 6 months and every time I use it, I find new surprises! I travel a lot and it has saved me a lot of time going from airports to hotels to restaurants to...
Quite a useful tool!
