DWL-650+ is cardbus(32 bits) pcmcia card and cannot be use in any pocketpc. All pocketpc as of right now only accepts regular 16 bits pcmcia card (such as the older DWL-650) dues to hardware limitation of the cpu chipset.

Hi all..New to the forum and PDA world. I did not want to start a new thread and thought that this was close to my same problem. I have a compaq ipaq 3800 series. I purchased a pcmcia sleeve with the hopes of being able to use a wireless card that I had. It is an Intel Anypoint 1.6 mbps card. The ipaq does recognize that a card has been entered into the slot but it states that it is an unrecognized card. It is asking for the name of the device driver for the card. Can anyone help ??? I have an existing wireless network in my home so I am able to test once....or if I am able to get this card up and running with the pda.

Thanks in advance for any info

Basically it means you need drivers for it. Check the web site to see if they have any posket pc drivers availible. Otherwise you might have to find and use a generic driver.
