Hi,

I have an iPAQ 5150 with 256 MB SD card and I’m transferring stuff from my Psion 5mx. I’m in the testing phase and after testing I’ll remove everything from the iPAQ and start all over.
On of the biggest drawbacks I find is that I can’t see properly on the iPAQ without backlight. I think this drains the battery big time. The iPAQ is way better handling appointments and synchronizing then the Psion I think

Now I’m looking for comparable programs:
A program that does a backup of the entire machine including memory cards.
A program that has the capability to show me my appointments, anniversaries, etc for say 3 months, or whatever period I choose, when I put on my iPAQ. Something today doesn’t do as far as I know.
A program that can keep my passwords and other secret info with export and import capability. I have a program on the computer that also works on a memory stick to. That’s why it needs the import and export. Because I simply love this program.
A program that closes a program right away instead of leaving it in memory.
A good conversion program with as many conversion capabilities as possible.
A program with the capacity to show clocks for different cities/time zones at the same times
A program that shows the battery status for the internal and external. battery.
A money management program that’s compatible with money and quicken.
Registry hack programs?
A program that can protect/encrypt the info on my iPAQ and is stable so I don’t loose the info.

For the programs I think a free good programs is best but if I have to pay a reasonable price for it that’s fine by me.

Thanks for even a partial answer,

David

Made the same move a few years ago.

Citytime from code city adds a very good world/city clock to the today screen.

Spb Pocketplus does a lot of the other things including multi IE windows/X close/ and a really nice today screen plug-in allowing much better control of settings.

Pocket Informant is by far the best PIM I've found and I've tried loads.

And if you travel try the triptracker app which plans/monitors/controls/costs all trips and can sync with a desktop version
