Has anyone fallen in love with this utility program??

What would I possibly need to encrypt my files for??

Also, as it was OEM in my IPAQ 4155 software CD, does anyone know of a link to a real user friendly users guide?

Thanks for the input.

This link will take you to the Resco page for File Explorer and you can download their manual.

Resco has become my file manager of choice. I especially like the built-in support of zip archives and the ease of drag'n'drop file operations. The zip support comes in very handy when I am either preparing a group of files to email out to clients or receiving files, since zipping reduces the upload or download time and that is an important consideration when I'm doing the process using my cell phone as the connection point.

I have also found the basic operations to be pretty intuitive for anyone who has used Windows Explorer.

When I went up to the full-blown version of Resco Explorer, I did it with the bundle that included their registry tool, another pretty intuitive tool for anyone familiar with Windows' regedit.

All-in-all, a great upgrade from the WM2003 File Explorer and easy to manage for users who use Windows on their desktops.

For those who don't want to pay for Resco explorer but still want a file explorer that has more functions than the built-in one, there's free Total Commander which has many features (not as much as Reco) including zip/unzip function.

Only 4155 comes with a full registered version of Resco File Explorer, the 4150 does not.

Oh. Grrrr! I thought the only differences were the 4150 was the european version and the 4155 was the US version. Didn't know the 4155 had extra software...
Thanks anyway.

I had previously read that the 4150 vs. 4155 is a mail order thing. The "5" at the end of the model versus the "0" allows for HP to determine origin of purchase.

That is what I read...got no idea if that is really the case...
