Hi, everyone.

Can I use this IPAQ 1945 to record speaking in my lecture room ? How long it can record ?

Thanks for the answer. I'm finding whether I can use either Pocket PC or Palm to record in my classroom.

I think you can, i'm not sure about the quality but there's mic automatic gain control which should help. And with free 3rd party software you can record in mp3 format and to storage card, so you should be able to record for a decent length of time.

..........the sound quality is fine. Set up the mic in audio settings and choose your compression setting. Or as Answerdude says: use 3rd party s/w.

With a 512MB SD card I can get hours and hours of better than dictaphone quality speech..................
